CALL FOR PAPERS
Theology Matters: Journal of Leadership in Church and Society is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that will publish articles in all areas of humanities, arts and social sciences that have a bearing on the church and society. The journal seeks to promote interdisciplinary studies in all the groves of academe that investigate critical issues in the church and society at large.
The editorial board encourages submissions from all disciplines for articles that:
- advance the commitment of Jakes Divinity School to integrating faith, scholarship, and integrity of the practice of ministry
- reveal the latest theological and scientific advancement in ecclesiastical higher education.
- Show evidence of kaleidoscopic, interdisciplinary approach to ideas impacting the church and society.
This is your opportunity to contribute to the ongoing dialogue on leadership within the context of the church and broader society.

Please review the submission guidelines below and consider submitting an abstract not exceeding 250 words. Proofread your abstract for content and grammar. Submissions must be originals not published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this Journal.
Submit an abstract by sending it to jdsjournal@jakesdivinity.org. Authors will be notified about the status of their submissions as soon as the review process is complete.
