“Reading the Bible for All Its Worth” certificate program is an 8-week immersive course designed to equip individuals with the essential skills to engage with the Bible intelligently. This program is offered entirely online, catering to the needs of individuals seeking to deepen their understanding of Scripture and enhance their ability to serve effectively in various ministry settings.
This certificate program is meticulously crafted to empower students to unlock the richness of the Bible’s content and meaning. Through a comprehensive curriculum, participants will explore diverse Bible genres, delve into their underlying themes, and learn to construct compelling biblical arguments on contemporary socio-ethical issues. - Asynchronous (Self-Paced)
- 8-weeks / 1 course per week
How much is tuition?
Tuition is $1,300.00.
Refund Policy:
Refunds are unavailable for the Reading the Bible for All Its Worth Certificate program. After payment has been made, no refunds will be processed. If you cannot attend during the term you registered for, please email Jakes Divinity School at admissions@jakesdivinity.org about transferring your registration fee to participate during the next term.
Is financial aid or scholarships available for the program?
The online degree offerings at Jakes Divinity School (JDS) are fully accredited by virtue of JDS’ partnerships with the following accredited universities: North Central University, Vanguard University, Portland Seminary at George Fox University, and Paul Quinn College. At this time, JDS is not regionally or nationally accredited by any accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Government, which means that it is not eligible for federal financial aid (FAFSA). We are currently pursuing accreditation with the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges & Schools (TRACS).
Scholarships are available for applicants.
Is the program fully online?
The program is 100% online using Zoom for any live class sessions that may be scheduled by the instructor, as well as, the Canvas LMS for accessing weekly course content.
